What is the difference between the two Beyond the Binary Trainings?
The training itself is exactly the same. What is different is how the CE hours on your course completion certificate are displayed. The NCBTMB Beyond the Binary version displays on your completion certificate: "5 CE credits" as well as the instructors NCBTMB provider # . . The classic Beyond the Binary version displays "5 CE credits: (2) in Health Equity and (3) in Ethics"

Can I ask for my completion certificate to display specific categories of what type of CE class this was?
Yes, if your state requires specific wording as to what style of CE credits you received in your training, reach out to Luigi directly to ask for your completion certificate to display: Ethics, Health Equity/Implicit Bias, Communication, Boundaries or a number of other categories that apply to this training

Is there a presenter in the training videos?
Yes, Luigi Continenza, LMT, created the training and facilitates the entire training from start to finish. There is a sample video in each of the Beyond the Binary landing pages above where you can see an example clip of the format style

How does the "self-paced" portion of the training work? Do I have to complete the training in a specific amount of time?
The training consists of 10 chapters of videos in which you have complete control over your pacing of those videos. There is a built in "seek bar" in each video so you can jump to a specific time in a video at any point as well. You can also come back to and watch each video as many times as you'd like one you complete the quiz at the end of that chapter. Once all of the quizzes in the training are complete, you then receive your course completion certificate with 5 CE Hours. The training will be available in this platform for a minimum of 1 year from March 31st 2025, likely much longer so you can complete it any time before then
